Cyril is pale with sunken staring eyes, he appears skittery and paranoid at all times, as if he's done something hes waiting to be caught/punished for. Generally slouching forward a bit and always having his hands either in his pockets or wringing them in front of him he gives off a 'creepy' air but is completely harmless. He has a small scar under his left eye and one on his lip from a birth defect that was healed wrong.

Personality: Paranoid and shy, but actually somewhat effective in his job, he knows a lot about divination and has consistently predicted the weather correctly as well as a few minor events. He generally caves in to any pressure from stronger people, even if younger, and especially if higher in level of authority (heads of houses, headmasters, etc). Sometimes he can seem creepy or dangerous but its probably just the way he says things or looks, he really is harmless.

History: Cyril is the result of a pureblood family ‘double dipping’ in the gene pool to try and keep the line muggle-free; he’s slightly mentally unstable, ill looking, and generally a bit creepy. He was born with a couple other physical defects as well but they were mostly repaired; only leaving scars or marks nowadays. Despite all this he manages to keep his job and do well at it.

In 2019 he first came to Hogwarts and spent the next few years getting passing grades, the only thing he ever excelled at was divination. Being that its fairly unusual to find someone who is actually talented at Divination and has some ability to ‘see’ he was hired in 2036 to be Hogwart’s divination teacher and has been working there ever since.

The Serpico family was fairly strong during the Wizarding Wars, but lost a great deal of their members. Those that remained clung to their purity a bit too hard and ended up breeding amongst each other until they were kind of weird. The family is connected loosely to the Ravenna family through recent crossing and has produced stronger, healthier, but no less undesirable children. Cyril has never had children, though it’s unclear if this is because he’s too creepy to get a date, or if he’s just impotent.
