Background: Born one year after the opening of the Gate Yuki has never known a world without the constant threat of Akumu. Luckily for him his father was a high-ranking courtier and was able to keep him relatively safe. Yuki often had to stay indoors due to his albinism, and his poor eyesight and strange appearance gave him a hard time with many tasks that he'd normally be expected to preform. However when he dreams he can see clearly. This talent was noted by his father fairly young, and Yuki was sent to a temple to train with the Awakened. He is currently working towards becoming an Awakened Oracle.

Because of his condition (albinism) Yuki has poor eyesight, a high sensitivity to light, and easily burns in the sun.
